June 8, NPF Games on Internet TV, and Glory Replacement Team Website Now Up

The USSSA Pride is the team which took over the contracts from the Glory franchise. The now have a website. It's obvious from their ticket prices that they learned nothing from the over-priced Glory tickets which were partly responsible for the team's demise. 15 bucks! The roster shows a... [More]

May 8, Glory and/or Glory Owner File for Bankruptcy

I just got this notice in the mail, addressed to Glory Season Ticket Holders. It lists the debtors names as Paul and Kathleen Wilson. No company name given, so perhaps it's a personal bankruptcy, rather than a Glory team bankruptcy.I have no idea what I'm supposed to do next. There is a meeti... [More]

    April 24, Glory Rumors

Unofficially, based on conversations I have heard about with a couple of players...The league has basically given up on finding a local owner, at least for this year, and the only remaining options are to continue as a traveling team, or to not have a team this season. Feb 24, Rockford Sign Former Riptide Free Agents Angus and Scott

When the New England Riptide folded, it was expected that their 4 All-Stars would quickly be signed to other teams. This was certainly true with Eileen Canney, who went to the Bandits about as soon as she was free. The second of those 4, Lyndsey Angus, has now signed with Rockford. Angus f... [More]
