Feb 17, Rockford Lose Kristen Zaleski and Lindsay Gardner to Retirement

Zaleski is a big loss for the team. She is the all-time league leader in steals, and was still going strong last year, finishing 3rd in the league. Gardner provided some of the power for the team, so she too will be missed. Bad for Rockford, but good for us.

Feb 17, Bandits Lose Amanda Freed and Jaime Clark to Retirement

Clark was the league-leader in RBIs last year, and 4th in HRs, so that is a big loss. Freed, not so much.

    NPF Calendar Finally Arrives

Fortunately, this was a present to myself, so the fact that it didn't get here in time for the holiday wasn't a big deal to me. It was not mailed until the 23rd, even though I was told it was expected to be mailed by the 12th. I would bet that this was the fault of the NPF, rather than the T... [More]
