August 10, BREAKING NEWS Washington Glory has 3 wins changed to losses

There is a limit of 16 active players for each game, and the use of someone not on the active list can result in a forfeit. As you can see from this NPF News Story [story no longer on website, sorry], this recently happened when the Philadelphia Force filed a protest with the league.

After the Force protest, the league went over all games. The results of this investigation caused the league to award forfeits to Rockford for 3 of our wins over them. The rule states that all stats from such games are erased, although this does not happen on the website as quickly as the standings are updated. So there may be some changes in the leader board in the next few days, with our players losing HRs and RBIs and Wins, etc.

Thanks to Nicole's mom for pointing this out. She further pointed out that we now only have a 2-game lead (in the loss column) over the Thunder, so our series in Chicago suddenly becomes very important. We need to win at least 3 games to clinch, or else have to wait and watch. (We won 1 of the needed 3 Friday night, so we need to win 2 of our next 3.) Rockford plays the Bandits next week in a 4-game set. I will post more info if/when I get it.
