    December 12, 2008 Schedule Posted

The league schedule is available on the NPF website. Since it is not yet on the Glory website, here is our schedule (home games in bold):

NE at Glory, May 29 - June 1 (Thu - Sun)
Glory at Rockford, June 4 - 7 (Wed - Sat)
Glory at Akron, June 11 - 14 (Wed - Sat)
Venezuela at Glory, June 19 - 22 (Thu - Sun)
China Taipei at Glory June 30 - July 3 (Mon - Thu)
Chicago at Glory, July 4 - 7 (Fri - Mon)
Glory at Chicago, July 10 - 13 (Thu - Sun)
Rockford at Glory, July 17 - 20 (Thu - Sun)
Philly at Glory, July 25 - 28 (Fri - Mon)
Glory at Philly, July 30 - Aug 2 (Wed - Sat)
Akron at Glory, Aug 8 - 11 (Fri - Mon)
Glory at NE, Aug 14 - 17 (Thu - Sun)
Glory win 2nd straight Championship, at Kimberly, WI, Aug 22 - 24 (Fri - Sun)

(Note: the league had previously announced that we would play Australia and Netherlands, but that is not the case. Australia is not listed at all, and Netherlands will be playing some NPF teams, but not us.)

Unfortunately, two issues arise from this schedule. We will have 4 Monday home games, plus 6 Friday home games. Even moving my Friday night team to Mondays doesn't allow me to attend many more games. Arg! The second issue is that all game times are now 7:05, including Sundays. This means even more conflicts, with my Sunday team, for the 2 June Sundays, and perhaps the July 6th game also. Double Arg!
