Similar to the Long Haul Bombers Stadium Tour of baseball stadiums in slow-pitch, the NPF will begin a "Battle of the Bats" today. This will pit 4 bat manufacturers against each other (Combat, Mizuno, Wilson/DeMarini, and Worth).

Prior to each Saturday contest, four players from each team (one player for each company) will take 5 swings for the fences, with HRs tallied through the season. Totals are kept for each player, and for the companies. The player with the most HRs at the end of the season will win $1,000. The winning company gets a trophy.

The "derby" is scheduled to be held about 35 minutes before each Saturday game, so everyone should be sure to arrive extra early for these games!
