July 25, Larquier Slugs her way to 2nd Place in Battle of the Bats

My UVa girl lead the league in Week 7 of the Home Run Derby, hitting 4 out of 5 over the fence at Westfield. Oli was right behind her, tied for 2nd with 3 dingers. This was the best showing of the season for both ladies. (It took place on July 20th, when I was unable to witness it due to my tournament. Maybe I should skip tomorrow's competiion as well!)

This puts her in second place with 11 HRs, behind Kate Robinson's 13. However, Akron's Robinson has not yet had her BYE week, so she's had 7 week's worth of swings while Sara's had just 6.

Larquier is swinging for Worth, and the company is now solidly in second place, just 8 behind Oli's Wilson/DeMarini (54 to 46). Combat is in third with 33, and Mizuno has 25.
