Jim - do you or anyone else know what the league does if teams are tied end of series. 3 teams - Glory/Bandits/Force could all end up tied - usually they go head-to-head but that is almost even also, what is plan B, plan C etc. I think last season Thunder/Force or NE were tied for 4th spot and it was head to head w/Thunder winning.

Of course if Glory just wins out - then plan "A" will work

I can understand why international did not count last season as the schedule was a MESS and very unbalanced. But this season the series is balanced so "where does it say that the international W/L records would matter" - each team played 8 games against Olympic contenders (no slouches) If Philly comes in 3rd based on win/loss and Chicago/Glory end up tied both going 4-4 and runs scored/against we are also tied at 29-29 I'm thinking it would be a coin toss for 1st for tournament but co-league champs. If Glory ends up tied with Phili at 4-4 but Glory would have the runs scored 33-27.

The league is so much more balanced this year and the quality of play on each team has been great (having Olympians would not make play any better, just more publicity). What makes the league is in each game a different player seems to step up and hit the winning RBI, HR or defo.play etc. that makes you go WOW ! And until the game is over you can never consider that your team has won or lost cause the 7th inning is full of surprises. Softball world s/be very proud of these young ladies and the level of play they bring to the field each and every game. I'm looking forward to another great championship tournament - last years season/victory memories can never be matched - but a 2nd championship would still have it's rewards.
