August 16, Akron Out of Playoffs, Tincher Removed from Game

Philly beat Akron earlier today in the first game of a double-header, eliminating Akron from the 4th playoff spot. This will help our ladies in the Battle of the Bats competition in Kimberly.

The two teams are currently playing their final game of the regular season. Akron is down 4-0 in the 4th. The FSN announcers mentioned that Angela Tincher was removed due to some sort of pain or injury. They showed her iced up, and said they hoped it was precautionary. Radara McHugh came in to relieve Tincher. After the 4th run scored, Jamee Juarez came in for McHugh, and the announcers said McHugh may have just finished her professional career. No idea why this was said.
