Maybe one day, if softball returns to the Olympics,  there will come a time when the NPF has its own Pete Orr. Orr plays for the Washington Nationals, and he was selected to play on the Canadian Olympic team. But it's the dream of every little league player to play in the Majors, so when he was called up to the show, he gave up his spot on the Olympic team.  I hope the NPF gets that kind of stature someday.

In the meantime, here is the Olympic schedule for softball.  Most games will be broadcast live on CNBC or MSNBC (Aug 17 and the 5 AM game on Aug 20). August 21 game currently scheduled to air on USA. Check NBCOlympics.com for last-minute changes.
