Force Get Kellie Middleton from Akron to Replace Retiring Sharonda McDonald

The Philadelphia Force announced today that the team has traded its 4th round draft pick to the Akron Racers in exchange for outfielder Kellie Middleton. She is expected to fill the hole left by CFer Sharonda McDonald, who has decided to retire from the NPF.

McDonald was 2nd in the league in stolen bases over the last 2 seasons, with a total of 29. (Only Shanel Scott had more, with 58, which places her 2nd all-time.) Although the story has a poorly worded sentence which seems to imply that Middleton had 30 stolen bases in 2007, that's not quite true. Still, her two-year total of 22 stoeln bases is not too shabby.

    Here is the story.
